Diploma: Horse-riding instructor
Mounts: Ginsengue (10 years old BWP mare)
Nicole started riding when she was 10, in Germany. She was also very keen on handball that she played for several years at a high level. But her passion for horses finally won over the other ones, as soon as she passed her horse-riding 1st and 2nd degree instructorship. Nicole worked as an instructor in a Parisian stable for a few years and then left for south-west of France, to meet Jean-Marc Favereau in Lagorce near Bordeaux.
Favereau Stables is a multidisciplinary barn. Jean-Marc, Nicole’s husband, is an eventing rider. Marine and Lara both took similar paths to their mother’s. Marine is a dressage rider and Lara competes in dressage and eventing.
Nicole, her husband, her youngest daughter and two additional employees are in charge of the stables. Within a field of 40 hectares, composed of 23 boxes and grasslands, the family takes care of trade, breeding and customers’ horses. On top of completing all these tasks, the family also teaches dressage and eventing to amateurs and professionals through regular training sessions and clinics.
